In 1882, Manning Street was built from High to Central Street, and soon was lined with Victorian houses. The house at 6 Manning Street was built in approximately 1890. Exterior features include a two-story three-window front bay with a third-floor porch, shingle siding, a partial wrap-around porch, and slate shingles. Inside the house are 10-foot ceilings, two stained-glass windows, oak floors, original moldings, and pocket doors.
